The focus this term was The Gunpowder Plot.  We learnt about Guy Fawkes and his dastardly plans to assassinate King James I. 

We paid a visit with year 1 to Peterborough Cathedral where we joined in with special workshops and toured the building.

We explored the iPad app called Digimaps which we used to find our homes, find landmarks around the school, and we used these skills to make our own maps of the classroom and treasure maps.

In DT, we made moving Christmas pictures.

Art began with an Autumn leaf hunt around the village and drawing the leaves we found.

We also took the lead for the Christmas story, narrating the events of that first Christmas night.
